Fossil preparation is a passion of ours. We love it! Our fossils are typically prepped to the maximum the rock has to offer. Some people can wonder and say, "How can you sit and stare at the same patch of rock for so long?" The answer: preparation of fossils is our Zen - and it's easy to "go overboard" in the attention to detail during a prep. Our specimens are prepped to a higher degree and are more "clean" than many others offered in the fossil market. There have been times where very minute granules are being removed, and the tool pressure is so light that you can't even tell that you're touching anything! Yet, the microscope shows you the work you're doing, bit by tiny bit. Many experts in the fossil business have complimented us on the quality of our preparations.
