Below are various examples of our work. Most are from the Green River Formation in Wyoming (freshwater fish). Some are from Lebanon (saltwater life), while others are examples of Keichosaur from China. The fossil grade is included for each, so the viewer can better understand the way we categorize.

Adult Keichosaurus, 10" in length. A beautiful specimen. China. Premium Grade

Keichosaur, with mortality wounds. Notice the kink in neck, plus displaced ribs. Most likely a bite from a predator. China. Premium Grade

Immature Keichosaur, 6" in length. China. Premium Grade

A large, 14" Diplomystus. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Premium Grade

A beautiful Diplomystus, 10" length. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Premium Grade

A wonderfully preserved small Diplomystus. This one was "rescued" from my son, after noticing he scraped right through part of the tail while doing his own prep work. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Premium Grade

Knightia, Green River Formation, Wyoming. Nugget Fish

"Gemini" Knighta, overlapping. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Nugget Fish

14" Mioplosus, very well preserved. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Premium Grade

A favorite Nugget Fish of mine, I call it the "Debris Field" (as "Death Site" is a bit too morbid). Acid prep. Lebanon. Nugget Fish

Small Priscacara with some fin disruption. Otherwise a good specimen. Green River Formation. Standard Grade

The fins of a Phaerodus, showing the degree to which preparation can be taken. These fins were excavated to the most minute level, where I could not even feel the tool taking matrix away. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Premium Grade

A Viper fish, plus two others. This is a case of "frozen predation", as the Viper fish has a second (broken) fish in its mouth. Lebanon. Standard Grade

A closer view of the predation. The prey fish actually sticks out slightly from the opposite jaws of the Viper fish.

Another Nugget Fish. Acid prep. Lebanon.

Nematonotus longispinus. An almost perfect example of the variety that the Lebanon quarry has to offer. Premium Grade

A small Green River Fish, most likely a diplomystus. Standard Grade

A favorite from Lebanon. This is a lobster that happens to have a small fish in its pincers. Another case of predation, frozen in time. Lebanon Premium Grade

A closer view of the small fish in the lobster's grasp.

If you buy an unprepped plate, always look at the backside. This Mioplosus was on the back of a cheap unprepped Diplomystus. Green River Formation, Wyoming

A small Priscacara. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Standard Grade

A stunning representation of a Mioplosus and a Knighta. Very suitable for the wall. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Premium Grade

5.5" Priscacara. Green River Formation, Wyoming. Standard Grade

Small Priscacara. Green RIver Formation, Wyoming. Standard Grade

One member of a starfish grouping. Unfortunately, this one was sold before a photo of the grouping could be taken. This group was acid prepped hence the "wet" look as the process was underway. Lebanon quarries. Premium Grade

A photo of the central body of a starfish in the grouping was taken through the microscope.

A closer view of the left leg. This photo shows the level of detail that can be achieved with acid preparation. Notice the fine "hair-like" spikes along the lower edge and each individual section of exo-skeleton.

Another lobseter from Lebanon. Premium Grade

A perfectly preserved small fish, only 1" in overall length! This degree of detail and preservation would not have been possible without using acid preparation techniques. Though the size of a small Nugget Fish, this one is a Premium Grade fossil.
